Hello hello and welcome to Mute Elation, the repository for my old or non-serialized comics. The above is a the first half of the original "Mute Elation," a bitter one-page comic I did while I was struggling with my decision to be a science major. (I uh, quit.) Anyhoo, the comic suggests that some class demonstrations involving the vivisection of animals are redundant. Medical experiments are necessary, I realize...but demonstrating the effects of caffeine on a live frog's heart, or messing with yet another cat's hypothalmus, seems a BIT wasteful in this day and age of detailed class videos and interactive lab programs.
